I suck, part 497
Nov. 5th, 2006 03:00 pmI'm unloading a few projects this morning ... sending sad, apologetic little emails telling prospective clients I can't actually do what I originally said I could. I'm just overcommitted ... again. WHY can I not say NO to anything?!
I'm FINALLY getting caught up on my backlog of freelance stuff dating all the way back to last January. Actually, of the original batch of commissions from when the RC trade paperback came out. I only have one left. My to-do list is much shorter. And now I can check off a couple more items. ("Tell clients how much I suck ... check.")
I need more Christmas music. I'm feeling kind of holiday-ish, but I don't really have anything to listen to, except for my Charlotte Church album and a few random songs like the Pretenders' "2000 Miles". Anyone have any favorite holiday albums to recommend? Traditional, original, or unusual arrangements of traditional songs ... all are equally welcome.
