Ugliest. Truck. Ever.
Mar. 17th, 2004 09:43 amWe bought a Suburban yesterday for our "moving to Alaska" truck. It's 20 years old, half rust and painted a nearly-black shade of blue that would be ugly even if half of it wasn't peeling off.
( See a picture, which hardly does justice to the hideousness of the thing )
It has a 454 engine and a massive hitch which appears to be welded to the frame. The guy we bought it from refers to it as a "stump-pullin' truck". There's even hookups for brakelights with the hitch -- it's just perfect for what we want. "Cheap and ugly and can haul a load of crap" was our criteria. We definitely got the cheap and ugly part. The hauling I guess we'll have to see about.
