Cool thing: There are fish in our creek! Big ones!
Not so cool thing: They're dead. And I discovered this because ever since the spring floodwaters receded, Lucky has been abnormally interested in splashing around in the mud at the edge of the creek. Yesterday I finally, belatedly realized why. It's because there are DEAD FISH in the mud and he's EATING them. They're about a foot long and ... *barf* ... sort of curled up and freeze dried. I don't think the winter was kind to them.
