Question of the week?
Dec. 31st, 2006 12:28 pmI've been getting back into online discussion of creative topics -- something I'd more-or-less stopped doing for a while (due to the way that such discussions can suck me in and I never see the light of day again). But I'd forgotten how *fun* it was, and I think I'm going to start trying to get some similar topics going over at my other, workblog LJ -- by way of trying to entice more people to post over there.
So, my first questions is up: What, if any, are the differences between short stories and novels? (Other than, you know ... *length*, obviously.) I find that I read novels for different reasons than I read short stories. Do you?
