Cross-posted from the other journal, as usual.
I broke down and subscribed to Wirepop this morning, just to read the archives of Dans L'Metro and figure out what the heck is going on. I've been completely unable to follow the thread of the story reading one page a week and being unable to go back and re-read. It makes a lot more sense now. I can see why I was having such trouble, though. The story teases without really revealing much, dropping hints but never quite coming out and saying anything. And the art ... oh, it's gorgeous. Someday I would love to see a full-color graphic novel of this lovely series. Or at least a black-and-white one.
I also need to subcribe to Graphic Smash soon. Not today though. Gotta go clean the bathroom, and I don't need any more distractions, because I WILL find distractions if I give myself an inch.
54 spam messages in my inbox this morning. And those are just the ones that made it past the spam filter. I am really starting to loathe spam. What really gets me is that I get spam on an address that I have NEVER given out to ANYONE. The only people who have it are my ISP who assigned it to me. I think what's happening is that because that's the ISP's default email for me, messages that don't go into any of my other mailboxes bounce into that one. I hope. It would really, really bite if your own ISP sells you out.
