Help?
I need an anecdote for Freebird, and for some reason I'm drawing a blank.
General context is that we come in on the last paragraph of someone telling one of those "you had to be there" kinds of stories, with everyone in the room having a "uh, okay" sort of look on their faces. The teller thinks it's funny; everyone else is just sort of confused. Ideally it would be related to Alaska, winter or rural living. (This is Freebird, after all.)
Anybody got some sort of short, funny-if-you-were-there stories? Or ideas? Or an out-of-context paragraph that *would* be funny without about a chapter's worth of exposition in front of it?
