A cat-astrophe waiting to happen
Shiva (the cat) is so hilarious. And sad. He hates drinking out of the communal water bowl, where the water has been polluted by FILTHY DOGS, even if it's just been changed. This means he'll go to almost any length to get water from alternative sources, such as:
-the bathtub drain
-the dishwater
-the plant watering can
-half-empty glasses of water on the countertop
-my paintbrush water
I mean ... come on, dude. Drinking dog-water is not going to kill you. Phthalo Blue or fertilizer actually *might*.

And thank you very much for the comments about RC; I *love* By the Wayside and think you're insanely talented, so that makes me very happy. :) Er ... I actually had no idea that we'd met in real life, though; I have a mind like a steel sieve for that sort of thing, alas. It's not you -- it's me.
