I so totally have a new look for Linton. I've had trouble drawing him for ages, but ... omigod, Linton with scruffy hair is too much fun to draw! And cute too! He looks ten years younger.

I'm thinking the poor guy is going to have hairbrush problems in the future ...

Before my camera died, I got some nice pictures of Denali Park in early fall.

I'm not really sure what all those bugs are in the last one. I don't remember noticing them when I was taking the picture, but they certainly seem to be everywhere.

This is Hurricane Gulch, a rather impressive canyon that the highway crosses at the top of the pass.

I get that sometimes, too. Especially when seeing it through other people's eyes. It's easy to get blase about it when seeing it day in and day out; for me, I don't think I fully appreciated it until living somewhere else and then moving back.
