Storm pictures

From last night's aforementioned thunderstorm. There's a reddish cast to the pictures that wasn't present in the actual event, due to the camera compensating for darkness.



The southern sky. Looks downright apocalyptic, doesn't it?


This is the opposite side of the sky, where the sun had just set.


The only picture I could find that shows the gold rain trails against gray-blue clouds (left side of picture).


Here you can see the double rainbow, although the outer one is faint.

anyhow, yeah, the pictures turned out nicely. i like the first one the best.

Thanks! Yeah, that's our place. We're up the Steese past the weigh station (out towards Chatanika ... but not very far).
