Singer/songwriter/activist Nanci Griffith is playing a solo acoustic show at Pioneer Park this weekend and guess who just scored one of the last tickets!
The concert was a ton of fun, too. A very small venue (only about 300 people in the audience), just Nanci and a guitar and a mike. Between songs, she talked about her life and her childhood and how she came to write each song that she was going to play. She's very charismatic and funny, very fun to listen to. It left me feeling very creative after listening to her talk about the creative process for two hours. Better than a writing workshop!
