Waaaargh
Due in part to technical glitches, and in LARGE part to my own stupidity, my rather extensive Coppermine art gallery is now dead, and I have to rebuild it from scratch.
I will probably give up on the fairly restrictive, pre-written CGI gallery and instead, split it up into multiple galleries in their own parts of the website ... much as it was in the beginning. I've tried doing my website two different ways over the years: organizing by project (e.g. section for Kismet, section for Raven's Children, etc), and organizing by type of content (e.g. gallery over here, comics over here) and it evolved into a bizarre hybrid of the two systems. Lately I've been trying to go back to the organized-by-project style, because it seems to work better and be more user-friendly. This is an excellent opportunity to weed out the last of the old-style organization and get everything where it should be.
Except that I have to actually DO it.
