Artists: How do you package art?
As the subject line says...
For those of you who mail art to people, how do you package it? Flat? Rolled? Do you protect it? If so, how?
This round of Raven's Children commissions is the first time I've ever had to send a LOT of art at once (I've sent occasional pieces every now and then, but not more than one or two a year) and, on the one hand, I don't want them to be lost or damaged, but on the other hand, I don't want to go completely overboard and spend ridiculous amounts of time packaging them -- it's not the Mona Lisa for crying out loud.
It's really too late to help with this batch, but for future reference, I'm very curious how this is normally done.

Hopefully it won't take forever to get to you. I sent the local ones via media mail, on the assumption that it can't possibly take even media mail more than a few days to make it from one post office to another one 2 miles away. Just my luck, it'll end up buried at the bottom of 6 tons of books at the airport. Yours was in the batch that I mailed this morning, so let me know if you don't get it in a reasonable amount of time.
