Soon he'll be hacking the NSA servers
The cat has learned to type. We've been noticing a lot of, shall we say, feline sign on the laptops -- i.e. we leave our laptops asleep (but open) and come back to find the laptops woke up from their sleep with a lot of random garbage in whatever file happens to be open. We figure the cat walked across the keyboard; okay, pretty typical. But tonight Orion discovered that Shiva is doing it on purpose. Shiva has actually figured out how to use this neat cat toy known as the computer. He'll put his paw on the keyboard, causing a line of type to cruise across the screen, and then bat at the moving cursor onscreen -- then touch the keyboard to make the toy do its thing again.
The cat can type.
I'm scared.
In other news, today was spent working on the color commissions. There are five of these: three completely finished; one penciled; one I'm going to cheat and paint directly from a couple of my reference photos. Hey, I took the photos, I can do this. The medium for the commissions is ink and watercolor. They're turning out very nice; I should do more color work. I'm definitely scanning them before sending them off to their recipients.
I'll be putting up most of the commissions, b&w and color, in the gallery once their recipients have seen them. (I always try to let the person who bought the commission see it before I show it to anyone else; this seems courteous.)
