*yawn*

Up at 6 a.m. to take the kitten for his, er, snippage, after staying up 'til midnight last night ... stupid, stupid artist creature. Poor cat ... he can't have any food because of his surgery, and he's all like: "Where's my breakfast, woman?!"

Yesterday was a good day, creatively. I'm basically done with the book. All I need to do is write the back cover copy (which I hate, especially for THAT book because it's so hard to describe), slap a bar code on it, give the interior pages a final once-over for typos, and upload. I should be able to get it all done tonight.

The great thing about boy snippage is the relative lack of intrusion, especially compared to girls.

My cats did the same thing when I starved, er, fasted them before their surgery. "Did you forget? We looooove youuuuuu."

He kept biting my feet while I was trying to check my email. I guess he thought there had been some sort of horrible misunderstanding.

Yeah, it is a lot easier on boy critters (aside from the, you know, whole loss-of-genitalia thing, which they really don't care about). Especially when they're young. He's only about 4 mos, so he'll be annoying the dogs again in no time.

And, he has a name! The Cat Formerly Known as Prince is now Shiva the Destroyer.

*LOL* Well, let us hope the re-naming isn't too prophetic.

Did you ever notice how dogs never get names like "Shiva the Destroyer?" They get names like "Muffy."
