Smoke: the horror continues

A comparison of what the view from the front yard is SUPPOSED to look like ... and what it's looked like the last few days. (The pictures are taken from somewhat different angles, but you can match up the big bend in the driveway. There is SUPPOSED to be a hill visible behind it.

The forecast called for possible clearing smoke...Obviously grossly optimistic!
(I think has become far worse just this evening...and never mind the hills, I can't see the Safeway across the road.)
