Summer?

The trees are all leafed out and green. It rained a few days ago and that really brought out the color in the trees. I was going to spend this weekend working on my garden, but I twisted my ankle climbing on rock piles at the end of last week -- it swelled up and turned interesting colors, so I decided to spend the weekend indoors instead, working on Freebird.

Tonight while walking (limping?) the dogs, I found myself thinking about Raven's Children again. The next story arc. I really want to work on it right now. O irony of life! I actually know how I want it to begin (in my head, the beginning is already written) and approximately where I want it to end -- basically I'm throwing out whole storylines and focusing on the ones I'm really interested in.

It might not be that long before I pick up RC again, after all.

hahaha! Thank you ... for the delightful, brain-tickling metaphor and also because it's SO nice to know I'm not just afflicted by some kind of creative attention deficit disorder! Fickle, fickle imagination ... the way to turn a fun thing into work is to do it every day, I guess. I just spent 4 hours writing Kismet, and it was a lot of fun at the *beginning* of the evening, but not so much by the end...

Anyone who says they don't get a sexual charge when the writing's going well is just Fibby O'Fibber.

And thanks!
