New Raven's Children pages are up! The first page of this update was, in fact, penciled a year ago, along with one other page from this issue which occurs much later on.

And now for something different...


This is me in my mom's garden, that I was talking about on this message board thread. The garden had pathways that were made with stones from the creek.


Me with one of the sled dogs. That's the porch of our "new" house in the background (the five-sided one that my dad built after the other one burned down). There's a bear hide or something similar hanging from the post.


Did I already post this one? Somehow I feel as if I have. Some of the ones my dad is sendind me are pictures I already have, so there may be repeats. Anyway, this is me in the dogsled, with our woodchopping area behind me.


My baby sister in a baby carrier on my mom's back. Winter 1978. From the way the mountain looks in the background, I think this is in our yard somewhere.


This is either me or my sister, but we can't figure out which. The picture is dated 1977, which would be about right for me, but it's labeled "Harmony". Who knows. It's not taken anywhere around our house that I recognize, so I would guess that this is either my grandparents' homestead in Trapper Creek (south of Denali Park) or it's at a neighbor's place.

Awwww you were such a cute kid. Fun pictures. I used to have a Siberian Husky when i was a kid - beautiful dogs.

heehee ... thanks. (Er, I edited the page several times during the period where you posted ... took out the dogsled picture, put it back in ... everything is now more or less the way it was at first.)

Huskies are neat dogs. They're so cheerful and people-friendly.

Awww, but a snowsuit is fun! You can roll around in the snow like a plump little child sausage and you don't feel a thing.

When we were being bad, my mother used to tell us she was going to throw us into a snowbank if we didn't behave. I *think* she was joking...
