Awww...

I looked over the loft railing tonight and saw this:

Aren't they cute. For some reason Lucky loves to sleep sprawled on his back, legs spread wide apart, in a most undoglike (not to mention undignified) position. Go figure.

We may think it's undignified, but in the dog world maybe it's really an advantageous position. All the better for the other doggies to check out the goods?

*heh* Or in his case, lack thereof, since he's clipped.

Awwwwww. And Scott is a thigh-tucker!

Eh, it's a common mistake. ~_^

His own wife calls him the wrong name half the time anyway. Most of the guys in my family have soundalike names -- stepfather Ivan, brother Eben, husband Orion. Can you blame me?

At our house, if a kid or pet gets in trouble, King or I have to cycle through five names to find the right one to yell. "Jane! I mean YUKI! I mean MAMADOG!"

Har! Dogs love squirming into any old place, the buggers.

I wish I had room for a dog.

...But yes, a most undignified state of repose... (covers eyes)

But their complete and utter lack of dignity is part of their charm...dogs, that is...
