Deja vu all over again
Weather, -35F. Crawlspace heater, dead! Water pump, frozen! Boiler temperature control, not working right! Stress level, rising! Aaargh!
Why do things like this never happen when it's warm?
Oh well. As of 10 p.m., the heater seems to be cranking along nicely again, the water pump is thawed, and the boiler is keeping the house warm without exploding. So it's a good night after all. Lord knows what we'll wake up to in the morning.
I think I'll just stop coming home. There's a shower at work. I can live there.
