Wandering around on the ol' Lawlor land
After work today, I went back in the woods and explored a little bit. Took some pictures of pretty scenery:

I also found two of our three corner markers that are on that side of the creek -- couldn't find the other one, but I was looking in the wrong direction ... I forgot that our 5-sided piece of property includes some greater-than-90-degree angles along its boundaries. And I found various weird stuff left over from the gold rush, including the remains of an old ditch that was probably part of the gold dredge water-supply lines, and some old wire and wood cribbing and stuff. Saw a woodpecker (very close) and a red fox. It was a nice evening.
