I sense winter around the corner
A few days ago, it was 80 degrees; now, the thermometer outside my window reads 36F. *shiver*
Wish I had a furnace. I guess I'm gonna have to fire up the boiler sometime soon. The house has been hovering around 50 degrees inside, which is a bit cool as room temperature goes.
Sooooo tired ... spent today outside, cleaning up trash in the yard, stacking wood, etc. I finally realized that the wood-stacking would be much easier with a wheelbarrow than carrying each load by hand, but once I went out and got one and got it put together, it was starting to get dark and I was ready to quit for the night.
Still, I got some of the major piles of trash cleaned up, stacked about a cord of wood (with at least another one to go, I think) for keeping warm this winter, and I think this can be considered a day well spent.
