This note will make no sense to newcomers to Kismet, but because I know that this page runs the risk of confusing those of you who were familiar with the characters from the short stories - it's not that I've drastically changed Elaine & Dusty's story; it's that I've shifted their timeline so that events which used to be backstory are now occurring in a contemporary timeframe with the other characters' stories. At this point, Dusty is one of Elaine's VR roleplaying-game buddies. (Which has always been the backstory for how they met.)
