For once I have very little to say about this page, except that "Haraset" is the Raven Tribe's word for themselves (literally it just means Raven Clan/Tribe - "Hara" = Raven, and "setnu" means the descendants of a totem ancestor, in their case the Raven). "Dog people" is a somewhat derogatory term that outsiders use for them.

Well, that and I think it's really fascinating to see my inking evolve over the course of 260 pages. It's still so tentative and overworked here (and inking each page took forever). The more confident I got, the better it looked.

The fourth panel looks a little out of place stylistically, compared to the others, because it is. It was originally drawn as a full page, then shrunk down to make a single panel when I rewrote and rearranged my original intro sequence into this version in 2002.
