OUCHES. How do you *do* it? Considering the pain from just a little bit of heavy-breathing outdoor activity in this cold, I don't get how skiiers and dog mushers and those sorts of people don't just start hacking up blood and keel over. Do the lungs become tough and leathery, like old shoes, upon exposure to subzero temperatures, or what?
