You guys want to look at something for me?

I'm working on a new, improved, CSS-heavy version of my website. This is just the rough draft and there's still a lot of work to go -- also, none of the links work -- but it would be great if different people could look at this and let me know if it looks okay for you, as I'm still learning/debugging CSS. There should be an image strip across the top (with a bigger image on the left), some links at the left and the main comics links in the middle. I'm also curious how long it takes to load on different people's systems; I don't want to overload the main page with images.

It loads really quickly, but I think it needs a little more imagery to balance the text.

Actually, after staring at it for a while, I don't think it's that there need to be more graphics -- I think there's just too much text. It's too busy. The layout that I'm using here is almost identical to the one I used on another page that I did a little while back, but while that one worked beautifully, THIS one isn't looking as good to me, and I think you've helped me nail it. The other page didn't have nearly as much text and the navigation was more straightforward, as well as the top graphic being cleaner. This page is simply too busy. I think I'm going to streamline my navigation a bit and see if I like that better.

Yes, I think you're right! Text heavy pages always make my eyes cross and automatically start searching for images to rest on, ya'know?
