Still in Alaska ... I think
Unseasonably warm weather this week -- it got up into the 60s on Monday. Now it's back to normal ... about 40 today, freezing hard at night. When I got home from work (at 7-ish) there was frost on the ground -- it melted in town, but I'm not sure that it got above freezing all day in Fox.
The leaves are all gone from the trees. All we need now is snow. Not that I'm *wishing* for it, mind. It rained a couple of days ago. The weather has been so weird this year that I have NO idea what it's going to do next.
Sparky (the wonder dog) got two porcupine quills in his nose the other day. Then, after being de-quilled, spent the evening following me around the kitchen with a mournful expression: "Why do you hate me? Why did you hurt my nose?"
I haven't written much in the journal lately -- I've just been busy, and not a lot is going on. I'm a little bit ahead on Kismet and Freebird pages, which probably means that I'll be spending a lot of time this weekend catching up on long-overdue freelance projects. Have I mentioned lately that I'm a horrible procrastinator?
Work has been kicking my butt lately. Yesterday was hellish, today no less so, although I'm proud of my team of ad-builders. They can seriously kick out the ads when they have to. They definitely earned their weekend this week. And Monday will be here long before we all want it, I'm sure.
