Just a bit more on the volcano front

Apparently the number of people killed by volcanoes in Alaska during recorded history is ... one.

Just about any other natural phenomena in our state (with the exception of the aurora) seems to have killed more people than that.

Still not something I have any tremendous desire to experience up close, though.
