Aargh, dilemma

I found the Steese post office today. This must be the best-hidden post office EVER. I would never have even thought to look for it if someone hadn't told me there was a post office somewhere between Fox and town. It's well-hidden off down the not-very-well-traveled Old Steese Highway. There is a little tiny blue "post office" sign with an arrow, and if you follow the arrow you go down a rutted dirt road that looks like it goes into an auto junkyard, but at the last minute it hangs a 90-degree right turn and then it looks like it goes off into the woods, but if you follow it for a little while, there's suddenly a post office hidden beside a warehouse-type building. It's as close to invisible as a building can be when it has a big U.S. flag out front, and you certainly can't see it from the highway.

Now I need to figure out whether to close my other PO box and switch over to this one. The other one is all the way across town and I only get out there about once a week. If I'm gonna do it, sooner would be better than later, before I get established under the new address and have to change everything again.

The only trouble is, I'm not sure if I can get a refund for my other box, and (more to the point) I'm not sure I can get down this road in the winter with my little 2WD car.

I guess since my box is paid thru December, I could give it some time and see if I can navigate to the place in the winter.
