Elaine was one of the very first Kismet characters - Kismet (the town) came much later, actually. Elaine was created in about 1992. It's such a delight to finally get to draw her. For a long time she was more elegant and less tomboyish; I think her current look is actually somewhat closer to the original, 1992-era Elaine.
