That is a cat having a fine adventure with his people. He looks as if he's feeling very intrepid and pleased with himself. Does he normally go outdoors at all, or is this all a novelty?
(Answering w/other account; too lazy to switch. XD)
He actually does go for regular walks with me and the dog in the summer. In fact, he's very sad if he's left behind! It's terribly cute, because he doesn't simply walk down the middle of the road/trail/etc, like a dog does. He ghosts along at the edges, weaving in and out of the brush. But he stays with us the whole way, and turns around to come home when we do. If we accidentally get ahead of him, he cries until we wait for him to catch up.
Going for walks with this much snow is very rare, though. I think he's feeling restless and bored, and today was relatively warm.
The *floomp* was hilarious. I took a bunch of pictures of him doing that, because he just kind of ... lay down, like cats do when they're comfy. IN A SNOWBANK. Yeah, cat, I think I will remember this the next time you complain about going out because it's a few degrees below your comfort level.
Yes. :D Although more often, he likes to get ahead of us, lie in wait, tail twitching, and then run out of the brush and "catch" us -- throwing his arms around my leg, or pouncing on the (slightly nonplused) dog.

Does he also do that cat thing where he suddenly races out of the bushes ahead of you, and then you have to pretend to be VERY SURPRISED?
